Biography

Charles F Gustina grew up in a Catholic home in Buffalo New York.  After earning a BA in Comparative Arts at Georgetown University, he studied Interior Design at Pratt Institute.  He worked as a corporate designer in New York City throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s.  Around 1990 he began photographing seriously; he photographed and exhibited in New York and elsewhere during the 90’s.  He received his MFA in Photography at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005. Charles is currently a Teaching Assistant Professor of Interior Design at East Carolina University.
