CURRICULUM VITAE
My career encompasses interior design, fine art photography, and teaching. After studying at Pratt Institute I practiced interior design in New York City from 1981 till 2002. While still working in design, I began to photograph seriously in the late 1980’s; I continue to photograph, exhibit and publish. During the 1990’s, I began teaching at Parsons School of Design; after completion of my MFA in Richmond I have continued to teach at the university level.
In my creative endeavors, the exploration of space and spatial relationships compels me; whether in 2 dimensions (photography) or 3 (interior design). In all areas of my career, service to the community satisfies my need for relevance.
